Richard Harrison is now offering WoodRat courses at the Woodwork Shop in Penrith in Cumberland. He knows the machine well so he can be useful to you at any level whether beginner or advanced. His own work is superb, and he is an experienced tutor.

If you are thinking of buying the WoodRat but would like a trial day, he does a one day course which takes you through setting up and making all the basic joints, ending with a ring of through dovetails. It's intensive, but you'll feel that you have achieved something by the end of the day.
